OceanCity is a painting that depicts the extremes and dualities of emotion. On the left side of the painting a person kneels on a bed in the middle of the ocean, the individuals thoughts are captured in the confusion of a busy nightmare – in a city of lost thought. On the right side of the painting waves flow passionately and joyfully onto a beach which holds a tree of peace and love. A vibrant sun lightens up an elated world of happiness. The two extremes join together in the middle of the painting depicting the consciousness of a balanced world. (Limited edition of #99)
